It can be a number of things. You need to start from scratch and eliminate things. Start with the basics- fuel and power. Make sure it is getting fuel and make sure it is getting spark.
Had same problem in my 2000 contour. The problem was with a bad wire on my fuel pump. Every time i turned a sharp corner car would stall. I replaced fuel pump and no probs since.
could be lots of things is engine light on ? is there a vacuum leak check for a crack in the intake tube from the air box to the throttle body if engine lights on get code
There's a solinoid in the transmission.Suggest to check that first. Turn on interior lights. Start engine. If the lights go out when the engine stalls, you have a bad ignition switch.
The kick stand is down or the kick stand switch is stuck.
It would help to know when it stalls? leaking air hoses in the engine compartment can be a problem. There are a number of them about the engine and it is about time you just replace all of them.
It could be your fuel pump fuse or just your fuel pump. i had the same problem it was just the fuse on mine
the battery is flat or its to old
I had the same problem with my 99 Chevy caviler and its all because of a wiring problem that could catch on fire, mine did, get it checked out
help me same problem
No start when wet indicates bad spark plug wires, failing coil or coil packs. To locate start car on dry day, raise engine hood, then mist with with garden hose (mist NOT SPRAY), if engine stalls you've found the problem part or parts. Using a hand held spray bottle with a mix of salt water works also.
I am having the same problem with a 1998 Nissan Altima. The engine runs fine at idle. When you press the gas the car stalls out. I'm down to replacing the gas pump in hopes of fixing this problem.
You have a fuel flow problem. Could be an injector, could be the automatic choke or the idler control valve, usually located on the manifold.
