Raise the vehicle with weight approved jacks and support with jackstands, or use an automotive lift. Remove wheels. FRONT: Remove (6) Allen head bolts holding black outter cup on hub. Remove c-ring off the end of front axle. Remove (2) caliper mounting bolts, use small pry bar to remove caliper. Remove brake pads from caliper carrier. Remove (2) mounting bolts from caliper carrier, and remove carrier. Hub, rotor, and tone wheel will all remove as one unit. With assembly on bench, remove mounting bolts from hub/rotor. Remove hub. Remove (4) mounting bolts on tone wheel located on back of rotor. Be cautious when removing assembly from axle- do not pry back on rotor as it can possible crach and cause damage to tone wheel. Reinstall tone wheel on new rotor, reinstall hub on front. Install hub/rotor/tone wheel assembly back onto axle. Install c-ring clip onto axle. Clean and lubricate sliding surface metal plates on carrier. Install caliper carrier and (2) mounting bolts. Install brake pads. Use caliper tool or c-clamp to press in caliper piston, install caliper and mounting bolts. Repeat process for passenger front. Be sure to pump brake pedal before starting and moving vehicle to build fluid pressure. Seat brake components accordingly.

How can you change the transmission oil in a 1997 Isuzu Trooper with automatic transmission?

Simple answer is take it to an auto transmission shop. They have all the gear and replace the gasket and internal filter for little more than it would cost for the bits. I gave up doing this years ago.

How do you change the wheel bearings on a 1987 Isuzu Trooper in the rear left side?

I am in the process of doing the same on the right rear bearing. Mine is a 1999 trooper and the bearings are in the bearing housing. You have to remove the wheel, brake rotor, parking brake assembly, ABS sensor, and parking brake cable. Then there are four bolts that hold the bearing housing to the axle housing. Once those bolts are out, you can pull the whole axle shaft out . The problem is getting the bearings and ABS position part off the axle and out of the housing. I took mine to a machine shop and 30,000 pounds of pressure could not get them out. The dealership suggests bringing it to them and they heat the abs position collar with a torch to expand it while applying pressure. Fun to the the rear end off, but the pros need to actually replace it.

How do you change front brake pads on a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer LS 4WD?

This would be the same procedure as any other front disc set-up. If you don't know what you are doing then take it to a shop.

What is procedure for compressing rear disc brake piston on 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix?

Screw the piston puck in clockwise. There is a tool for this (KN or KY) that is a box with little dowel pins to fit the slots in the caliper piston. What you are actually doing is resetting the parking brake. As the pads wear and you set the parking brake, each actuation of the parking brake foot lever ratchets the piston outward to componsate for pad wear.
