this applies to 2.4 and v6 models. the 2.2 does not have a cam shaft sensor.---four cylinder models-disconnect the electrical connector from the camshaft sensor. remove the mounting bolt from sensor. replace the "O" ring and lightly oil it with clean oil. ( sensor is in camshaft cover ) then install.--v6 models,-remove drive belt, take off Power Steering pump, do not take off hoses. just set it aside. now you can see sensor, remove hold down bolt and electrical connector, then pull sensor straight up. installation is reverse of removal. have a good one !!
