Yes, it IS possible. It depends on each women. Some women say they feel a slight pain or a certain type of 'cramp' when they ovulate (release the egg) but most cannot tell at all. It is not painful in and of itself and is nothing to worry about though. If you could feel it, it is normal unless it is some sharp or abnormal pain. Then you should see your OB/GYN doctor at once.
No you can't. An egg is normally called an ovum is almost gel-like in substance, and when it moves around your fallopian tubes-which are slimy because of the mucus in them-can not be felt at all since movement is smooth.
