The whole process of protein synthesis can be referred to as translation. An mRNA strand binds to the ribosome where a complementary strand of tRNA matches up at the ribosome. Groups of three nucleotides known as codons on mRNA match up with groups of three nucleotides known as anticodons on tRNA. Each set of codons and anticodons code for an amino acid. The mRNA strand moves down the ribosome codon by codon creating amino acid by amino acid and binding them together with peptide bonds. This long chain of amino acids is known as a polypeptide or protein. Once the mRNA strand is completely coded for, the protein is released into the cell to perform its desired function.

How does a molecule influence the expression of a protein and what mechanisms are involved?

The molecule influences the expression of a protein in several ways, most specifically in the design and shape of the molecule. It also provides specific ranges of information that can be utilized in the protein building process.

What process describes a protein being assembled?

Translation is the assembly of a protein molecule according to the code in an mRNA molecule. It takes place in the ribosome. tRNA brings correct amino acids to mRNA.

What is the relationship among a DNA molecule messenger RNA and a protein?

DNA is the instruction storage.Messenger RNA carries a copy of the instruction from the Nucleus to the Ribosome. The Ribosome is a collection of proteins and RNA that can interpret the instruction on the Messenger RNA and make protein that corresponds to it.A protein is the product produced by the Ribosome. In most cases hundreds to thousands of Ribosomes are attached to one Messenger RNA, each interpreting it in parallel and making the same protein.

How are proteins related to the coded hereditary message on DNA?

The sequence of a gene's DNA leads to the synthesis of an RNA molecule. The RNA is the instruction manual for a Ribosome to make a specific amino acid sequence. When the amino acids are put together, the protein is made. So from this process, you can see that a protein's structure depends on the DNA code.
