There could be wine, cheeses, crackers, cocktail nuts, etc. inside. Making up your own basket is even better because you get to give your friends a better selection of foods and wine. You can put the gift in a gift bag along with a card or wrap the gift and Scotch tape the card to the gift so it won't get lost. Some guest should write in each card what gift each guest brought so the host and hostess can send out thank you cards.
