When the skin becomes in contact with chemicals or acids that are corrosive, there are several procedures you can take depending on how sensitive the skin is to certain types of soaps and cleaners. Generally when skin does become in contact with chemicals, warm soapy water is applied to the area, and then flushed out with water. If other areas of the body are affected such as the eyes, in laboratories there are eye baths that's similar to a shower head, it's designed to sit in the eye socket and shoot water into the eye to remove any chemicals that are affecting the eye.
