Spark plugs sequence for a 1987 jetta gl?
What is the proper spark plug wire placement routing to the distributor for a 1994 Honda civic cx
distributes the spark from the coil to the spark plugs
distributes the spark from the coil to the spark plugs
The spark travels from the coil to the distributor then from the distributor to the plugs. So if you have spark going into the distributor but not coming out to the plugs, I would blame the distributor cap and rotor being at fault.
The ignitor unit controls the signal from the magnito to the ignition coils. This in turn controls the spark to the spark plugs and also controls the timing of the firing of the spark plugs in proper sequence.
no the plugs just delivers the spark. you only need to do timing if u pull the distributor out of the block or do a timingChan or if the distributor slips
may want to check and see if the spark plugs had the proper gap. also if you tried to upgrade the spark plugs like buying platnium or split fire..those upgrades require a upgraded coil It could be distributor (if it has a distributor), injectors, valves or a number of other problems.
