One 8 oz bag of puff corn
12 ounces of white chocolate
1/2 pkg (6 squares) of white almond bark
1 T. Crisco (or shortening)
Melt the chocolate, almond bark, and crisco and pour over the puff corn to coat.
You can sprinkle the red and green granulated sugar on top of this. I would use
the sprinkles at easter in yellows and greens. Could use the microwave to melt the chocolate and stir occasionally should be done within a minute or two.
Gonna try this recipe in a couple days. Just got it from a friend, Hers was Really good.
Method
Place corn puffs in roasting pan (or you can use two 9 x 13 x 2 pans). Place the first three ingredients in a 2 quart saucepan, cook on medium heat until it starts to boil. Boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add baking soda, mixture will foam. Pour mixture over corn puffs and stir until coated. Bake at 250 degrees for 45 minutes, stirring at least every 10 to 15 minutes. Remove from oven and pour onto waxed paper. Break apart immediately.
