On a 1998 Ford Crown Victoria :
The fuel pump shut off switch ( inertia switch ) is in the trunk , behind the
trunk liner on the drivers side . I believe that has a red button on top .
If the button has popped up then no power is going to the electric fuel pump
It's a safety device that shuts off the electric fuel pump if you are involved in
a substantial collision or maybe if you hit a really bad pothole
