do you have to do something else besides putting gas in it to start a daewoo lanos when it runs out of gas
Fuel Pump! That's what happened to mine.
There could be all the usual things like tune up, too hard driving conditions, underinflated tires, etc. However, i have a Lanos and it's really not good on gas for such a small car. I bought it new, and it always gave dissapointing gas mileage. Our Honda Civic gets like 10 more mpgs! So don't expect too much from Lanos.
I have A 99 daewoo Lanos with the same problem. I took apart my dash to find that the control cable has a broken shield over it. to easly check this your self just above the gas peddle and to the right there is your heater box on the side ov it is a control lever for diferant settings see if you can move it. go to local repair garage (£25-£50) or halfords will re-gas for £50
To charge refrigerant gas in a split AC unit, first ensure the system is off and locate the service valves on the outdoor unit. Connect a refrigerant gauge manifold to the low-pressure side, then attach the refrigerant canister to the high-pressure side. Open the service valves and allow refrigerant to flow into the system, monitoring the gauges to maintain the proper pressure levels. Once the desired charge is achieved, close the valves, disconnect the gauges, and run the system to check for proper operation.
It is a GM/Chevy trans, so any good transmission shop should be able to help you.
Daewoo
You can not put E85 Ethanol fuel into a car not designed for itas the Ethanol fuel (ethyl alcohol), {the same type of alcohol found in alcoholic beverages} will destroy the fuel system ( "O" rings , lines, ect...)
If it is low of refrigerant and needs charging then you have a leak. It is illegal to add refrigerant without first repairing the leak. Seek professional help and have the leak repaired first. They will charge the system correctly.
The Refrigerant enters the condenser as a high pressured gas, the condenser then condenses that gas and changes it to a liquid form.
if system is empty, u need to charge with correct amount of oil and refrigerant. the oil actually carries the refrigerant in the system if just recharging, buy the refrigerant that has oil already added, these are available at most auto stores
