Science plays a big roll in all ambulances, at least were I work (Ontario, Canada) all paramedics here must take a 2 year college program to enter into the ambulance feild. Futer training can be done to increase level of care of a paramedic, Primary care is first level, advanced care is the second level and critical care is last level. Science plays a roll in Biology as a paramedic must have a solid knowledge about human body systems, starting at the cell level up to whole sytems. Chemistry plays a big roll in the pharmicolgy section as meidcs must understand what meds do, how they produce effects in the body, how they interact with other meds, how they are removed from the body. a basic understanding of phsyics will help in understanding how damage occurs to the human body and to help estimate damage that can not be seen such as internal injery, also understanding pressures and how gases work, this helps with ventilation. Math is big as well as drugs require proper calculations,eq. 1ml of fluid contains 5mg of versed and you have to give 0.4mg per kg to a 23kg person. Gerography also is good to understand as reading maps and understanding how to find locations and time vrs distance. Science is key to the practice of paramedics. Most asspects of this work reqire knowledge in one or more science feilds.
how did his science advance science? what? not only does the question make little sense, Edison didn't do anything with science. he made the lightbulb, the film projector, and a ton of other stuff. NO SCIENCE
