Christianity, Christ died for YOU! if you have a bible you should look up John 3:16 it is the Gospel verse, it is, for GOD so loved the world that he GAVE his only begotten SON that who ever believes in him shall not die but have eternal life in heaven. now in heaven there will be NO pain no suffering and you'll be with God. all you have to do is believe that Jesus (Gods son) came down from heaven and loved us sooooo much that he was beaten whipped spat on and had a crown of thorns put on his head! then they crucified him! (he was laid on a cross and had one nail on each hand nailed into his hand, and 1 nail for each foot nailed to his foot!) so when we die we don't have to go to a VERY painful place. now that is a gift! And the proof for that is The Bible! and the proof that God made the universe except for God who can do anything! and all you have to do to except the gift of heaven is pray and ask for forgiveness of your sins and ask for him to let him into your heart.

The theology of a religion can be correct or otherwise. The holy scriptures of a religion can sometimes be proven to be historically and scientifically correct, or otherwise. The moral principles upheld by that religion can be correct or otherwise, but most religions do uphold high moral values, to the extent that this may not be a good comparison among religions.

The most fundamental issue for most religions is belief in a god or gods. There is no evidence that there is a god - neither the Abrahamic God of Judaism, Christianity and Islam, nor the Brahma of Hinduism, and so on. So, for all believers, regardless of religion, it is only a matter of faith whether their god or gods really exist. Without a god or gods, most religions fail the first test and can not be 'correct'.

There is no evidence for the existence of a heaven or hell. Among the Abrahamic religions, Judaism has the least to prove, because there is no hell in Judaism, so here it is perhaps marginally in front of its sister religions.

The Old Testament of Judaism and Christianity contains many errors, contradictions and contrived elements. There are, for example, contradictions between the first and second creation stories in Genesis, and they are in any case both provably untrue. References to the Philistines in the time of the prophet Abraham are provably untrue, because the Philistines were a sea people who only arrived in the Levant during the thirteenth century BCE. A contrived element is the specific ages of the Hebrew patriarchs, since they can be shown to have been derived from numerology. Of the Abrahamic religions, Islam has the least to prove since, although Islamic teachings are based in part on the Old Testament, it does not follow the Old Testament exactly nor claim it to be inerrant.

The more evidence a religion provides, the more that evidence is likely to prove it to be incorrect. And so it is with the Christian New Testament. Each historical error, internal inconsistency or fallacy in the New Testament is further evidence that it is not correct.

Buddha said that it was not necessary to believe in the gods, but if his followers wished to do so, they could. Thus, Buddhism can be a religion that teaches high moral values and how to conduct oneself, without the need to believe in the supernatural. That, in itself, does not make this form of Buddhism correct, but there is the least proof that it is not correct.
