An earth quake happens because of the teck tonick plates move and the mantle. Teck tonick plates are like a puzzles... the come apart eventually . So when they move that causes earth quakes and hurricanes. like the tosommii. When scientist Alfred Vegner did a research on earth quakes when he realized that at one point... The world was like one big super content. Then over the the years the teck tonick plates have moved to make the 7 contents like there are right now. Eventually Florida should be under water for that very reason. But don't worry, That should take about 10,000,000 years to happen and it will go under water very slowly with earth quakes along the way.
