As it turned out not that much because

A) He is the first biracial president more than just black by declaration,

B) He is not just the president for black people but for all Americans so he doesn't carry much influence in just being part black and helping only black people in USA, and

C) His election has more of a cosmetic purpose of showing that we are all "equal" and that anyone can become the president of the USA. But in reality this has little value, because he is just a darker version of earlier presidents that were already set on the path that America and pretty much the rest of the World is already on.
