It depends on the year of your vehicle. Your owners manual should have a chart of all fluid levels for your vehicle year. That said, I believe that anywhere between 28 and 35 is standard. 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 5.9L V8 Magnum = 35 gallons as specified in Owner's Manual. I have a 2500 Cummins and its 36 gallons...diesel.
