200 degrees to 220 degrees
Thermostat.
Between 210 and 230 degrees.
200-225 degrees F, give or take 5 degrees.
A 1967 Chevy Impala with a 283 motor should run at a temperature between 180 and 195 degrees. The temperature is set by the thermostat which controls coolant flow.
usually between 160 and 195 degrees.

well, check your oil, engine coolant, and your radiator.
Check the fan control
Under normal conditions the thermostat opens at 195 degrees. The water temperature will reach between230 to 235 degrees and the cooling fan will come on and cool down to around 200 degrees and then shut off.
Thermostat should be a 195 degrees F t-stat. Cooling fan(s) may not kick on until 215 degrees F.
3.4 liter engine. lowspeed fan 217 degrees. high speed fan 230 degrees. 3.8 liter engine. lowspeed 212 degrees. high speed 221 degrees.
