It sounds a lot to me like the intro to "Glory Bound" by the Wailin' Jennys.
It goes into the cap on the valve cover.
The fluid goes down the dipstick tube.
the spring end goes into the engine
Red, 5 year, HOAT type.
The engine holds 5.
The 3.6L holds near 6 quarts.
Normally goes to the starter or starter solenoid.

There is no minimum vehicle speed. It goes off of acceleration or deceleration in the crash.
Just replace it, the sensor on the top of it is usually what goes bad.
The drivers manual has all that info in it.
any brake fluid that has a DOT 3 rating will work
