The gap is 0.52 for factory-type OEM Copper Core plugs, and 0.54 for Platinum Core plugs (recommend Bosch for added fuel economy).

The best gauge is the circular type with the thickness ramp around the outer edge.

Do not use the circular one with the wires that are bent in a square or the feeler-blade-type as they are not as accurate and can damage the electrode.
