Most states don't have truck speed limits. So in a state like Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, etc. (where the speed limit is 75), trucks can do the speed limit.
Generally in the USA if you are on an Interstate ( 95,80 etc) the minimum speed is 40 by law, but by practice no less than 10 miles below the speed limit.
There isn't one set, standardized speed for this. The construction site speed limit will vary according to a number of factors, such as number of lanes open, original speed limit on the road, proximity of work crews and equipment to the road, etc.The speed limit is whatever is posted on temporary speed limit signs.Rule of thumb is half the posted speed limit.
As long as it takes. You'd have to factor in traffic conditions, the speed limit, your intentions as to whether or not you'll follow the speed limit, etc.
It all depends on what the speed limit is, if there is traffic....etc...:)
In North America (USA, Canada, etc.), area code 973 is an ordinary geographic area code for part of northern New Jersey including Newark. It is not a toll-free code. The toll-free codes in North America are 800, 888, 877, 866, 855, and 844, with 833 and 822 reserved for future toll-free use.
It depends on the speed at which you were going and many other things such as the weather, your age, how far over the speed limit, etc.
It depends on the speed that you drive at which, in turn, depends on the speed limit, road conditios, your vehicle, traffic etc. At 20 mph (the speed limit on my street) 5 hours. On a UK motorway, 1.43 hours or just over 1 hour 25 minutes. On roads without speed limit, less than that.
There isn't one universal speed limit for the entire route. The speed limits on Route 66 will vary by state and what sort of area you're driving through... less for residential areas and school zones, naturally, etc. But yes, the entire Route 66 is subject to speed limits.
ETCETC in a car is Electronic Toll Collection - you don't have to stop at the toll gate and toll is paid automatically. In Biology, the ETC stands for Electron Transport Chain. See related question below.
Yes, for an example, officers can go past the speed limit, use unlicensed guns, etc.
