As fast as you cn pedal it. Olympic Cyclist and IRONMAN triathlon winner, John Howard set a 152.2 Miles per Hour speed record at the Bonneville Salt Flats near Wendover, Utah on July 20, 1985.
This is very much dependent on how fit you are, what surface you're cycling on and what your bicycle is like. On road, on a racing bike, with thin slick tyres, the answer would probably be around 20mph average speed on the flat. If you're fitter, it will be higher. On a mountain bike with fat treaded tyres, you'll be doing well if you get above 15-20mph. On hills everything slows down or speeds up, depending if it's up or down.
No way of telling. Plenty of riders can hit 50 km/h on the open road. Track bikes are even faster. Faired recumbents even more so. DH bikes on special courses can go well over 100 km/h. Then again, some people will struggle to reach 20 km/h unless there's a slope to help them.
John Howard set a bicycle speed record on July, 20 1985. This was accomplished while drafting behind a specially designed vehicle to decrease the aerodynamic drag against John almost to nothing. In doing so, Howard was able to accelerate to an incredible 152.2 mph. This feat is known as "Motor Pacing." The drafting speed has since been bested by a fellow from Europe at 167.
However the more recognized record is the one that is set by a bicyclist racing without the assist of anything to draft from and on flat ground. Canadian rider Sam Whittingham piloted a bicycle with an aerodynamic shell built around it to 81.5 mph on his own in the desert in Nevada, making that the Official bicycle speed record.
The fastest speed is 80 mph
Depends on how you categorise riding. There has been aerodynamic recumbent bikes on the flat roads that have clocked 82mph which is the current fastest top speed from last I checked (set in 2002)
Downhill on road bicycles has reached to a little bit above 65mph. downhill motorpacing I've seen exceed 100mpg
Then there has also been motor pacing techniques to test a cyclists speed which a pro can do that at around 100mph or so. however The fastest speed achieved on a bicycle was 204.73 kph (127.243 mph), by Jose Meiffret (France), July 16, 1962, on the German Autobahn from Freiburg, behind a car (see below Events).

It depends if your on the flat or comming down a hill or mountain. If we take the flat a fairly fit person should be able to get up to 30mph for short bursts Pro riders can get upto 40mph and sustain 30mph and comming down a mountain you can freewheel at much higher speeds.
Typical speeds for bicycles are 15 to 30 km/h (10 to 20 mph). On a fast racing bicycle, a reasonably fit rider can ride at 50 km/h (30 mph) on flat ground for short periods.

No good answer to that, as there are too many conditions that influence the results. * what kind of bike * what kind of track * for which distance * supported or unaided * single, or team etc, etc
First of all the bike doesn't go anywhere w/o its rider, and the rider is usually held to be more important than which bike he's on. Secondly it's all down to circumstances Bikes have been towed or otherwise helped to speeds over 200 km/h, while a reasonably normal-looking road bike ridden unassisted on flat ground won't do much more than 60 km/ at best.
It's really hard to come up with a solid answer to that, as there are so many variables. Depending on circumstances anything between 8-16 MPH (13-25 KMH) could be seen as a normal average speed.
There's really no telling, as the span is too wide between different kinds of bicycles for there to be an "average" bike that makes sense. On the flat it's anywhere between 3-35 MPH. Let's say 10-20 MPH if you must have something.
That would depend on bike size, gearing, weight of the rider and the terrain you are going over. Off road bikes top speed can be anywhere from 40 mph to 110 mph.
The fastest bicycle on Earth was clocked at 83 mph.
I had ridden my bike.
To be ridden
They're ridden.
no
No. That's a motorcycle. Motorcycle are to be ridden with the cars.
Rode is the past form of ride. Use rode when you are talking about something that happened in the past, something that is now finished. The boy rode his bike to school last week.Ridden is the past participle of ride. Use ridden with and auxiliary verb such as have / had/ or a beverb. He has ridden his bike every day this week. She had ridden a horse before. The horse is ridden often.
Strange question - a bike is ridden, that's how its used.
No. A BMX is more like a piece of sports equipment, it's mostly ridden standing up and not really used for transportation. A comfort bike can be ridden while seated and isn't good for tricks and jumps.

he has ridden 3.125 km
an 80cc to a 125cc depending on how much you weigh.
There are 3 feet in a yard, so Paul has ridden his bike for 60 feet.
