I don't think this is public information. You have to understand that many of the F-22's flight characteristics are still regarded classified for a good reason.

Furthermore, the distribution of classified information is a federal offense in the USA, just please be more careful about what you are asking about sensitive subjects such as the F-22. You don't want to get someone in jail, do you?

Youre not even sure if it's classified, yet youre being so snooty to this guy, telling him he's doing something wrong by asking this. The F-22 has never been a "sensitive" subject. No one is going to jail, terrible answer, needlessly threatening.

What is the stall speed of a Cessna 172?

In landing configuration (full flaps), the stall speed is 40 knots (indicated airspeed). With flaps up it is 48 knots.

What is the meaning of clean stall and dirty stall in aircraft?

A Clean Stall is happens in the aircrafts normal cruise configuration. A Dirty Stall is occurs in the landing configuration, landing gear, slats, flaps in the landing position.

What is the stall speed of a 777?

The stall speed of an aircraft depends on its altitude, weight, configuration, and lateral and vertical acceleration. The stall speed for a 777 is dependent on these real-time factors.

What is stall speed for 737?

It all depends on the configuration. Sorry

What is the stall speed of a Boeing 787?

The stall speed of a Boeing 787 Dreamliner is approximately 110 knots NOTE: This varies with the degrees of the Flaps, Slats and landing gear being extended or not.

What are the flaps on an airplane used for?

The flaps on an airplane are there for two reasons: Drag and lift. As an airplane lines up with the runway and descends, it must slow down. Several things are done to slow down, such as throttle the engines down and lower the gear. However is some airplanes, to slow down and remain slow they must extend the flaps. These cause extra drag, which slows the airplane down. They are usually extended in increments while on approach. The second reason is for lift. As an airplane get slower, the wings get less and less effective, and once it gets slow enough, it may stall. To prevent a stall, airplanes lower flaps. These redirect air downward, pushing the airplane up. This allows it to fly slower, past its "clean" stall speed. (Clean stall speed refers to an airplane's stall speed with no flaps or landing gear extended) Some airplanes can fly nearly 100 knots slower with full flaps. The stall speed with full flaps and landing gear extended is known as "dirty" or "landing configuration" stall speed. This is much slower than "clean" stall speed.

What is the stall speed of a landing Boeing 777 after a 10 hour scheduled flight with about 303 souls on board?

Typically, an approach is flown at about 15% greater than stall speed. If the target approach speed of the crashed Asiana flight is publiscized at 137 knots, then its stall speed would be about 120 knots (or about 138 mph).

How do you calculate landing approach speed on an airplane Is their a Formula?

Approach speed depends on the plane, the load, and the wind. You can go full flaps on a Cessna 150 and land at about 50 mph (stall speed). If you are landing into a 30 mph headwind, you land at about 20 mph.

What is the stall speed of the SR-71?

The stall speed must be less than the landing speed which is 173mph (about 150 knots). Also, as a rule of thumb, landing speed for an airplane should be less than about 225 knots since airplane tires are the limiting factor in landings and ideally one would land at the slowest speed possible without stalling. Previous answer ...it's between 200mph and 350mph. (That's a pretty wide margin)

What are the purposes of the slats and flaps of an airplane's wings?

Slats and flaps increase drag and also increaselift. The increase in drag slows the aircraft down, and the increase in lift lowers the stall speed, which slows the landing speed of the aircraft.

What is the minimum takeoff and landing speed for a Cessna 172?

The Vr (rotation for takeoff) speed of a Cessna 172 is around 55 kts. The final approach speed is around 60 kts. When landing pilots strive to stall the airplane at the same time that the wheels touch the ground this happens at around 50 kts.

Why is landing speed of an aircraft high?

Beacuse if we cme with lower speed we can stall just at 50 ft,which is more than a danger..we come with speed so tht we can land with full control on aircraft coz more airflow more effective controls.
