Seven years from the date that the individual is charged with armed robbery. There are exceptions if DNA evidence is presented BEFORE the statute reaches its limit. That applies only on the state of Georgia and as of today(5/10/2011). I do not know about any other states
Added: ALSO - the statute stops running if you are out of the state.
