No, there is not. The military can apprehend the individual at any time. You cannot get out of your commitment just by hiding for a period of time.

Most military offense have a five year statute of limitations. AWOL is not included in this limitation. After 30 days, AWOL becomes desertion and there is no limitation on that offense.
