I have never heard of one. You see, what I have read in the past is that when Semele started "seeing" Zeus. she soon fell pregnant, when Hera found out she started playing a cruel trick. She showed at Semele's and befriended, pretending to be a nurse. When Semele told her that Zeus was the father of her soon to be born child. Hera pretended to not believe her, which planted dout he asked him to show his true form to her. So Semele asked Zeus to prove he was indeed Zeus. He tried to tell her what would happen, but she wouldn't have it. When she finally convised him, she turned to ash as soon as she saw him, because she was just a mere mortal. Zeus managed to save their baby, Dionysus, and sent him to Asia to grow up.

Dionysus is the God of wine, ritual madness and ecstasy in the Greek Mythology. His father is Zeus and mother - a mortal Semele. He is definetly very important but not as important as Zeus(Level1). Level 2 maybe?
Dennis originates from Dionysus - there is not, however, a Dennis in Greek mythology.
He did not.
Semele is said to be the mother and Zeus is said to be the father since he sewed Dionysus into his thigh until he was ready to be born
Within Greek mythology Dionysus was from Phrygia (Turkey region)

Dionysus is the god of wine and drunken revelry in Greek mythology. Writers often contrast Dionysus with his half-brother Apollo. Where Apollo personifies the cerebral aspects of mankind, Dionysus represents the libido and gratification. Dionysus was the son of the king of the Greek gods, Zeus, and Semele, the mortal daughter of Cadmus and Harmonia of Thebes. Dionysus is called "twice born" because of the unusual manner in which he grew: not only in a womb, but also in a thigh. Dionysus is a fat, plump god he was a partier there for the beer belly He wore a grape vine crown.
