THC is like octane in gasoline. If you pour one gallon of 92 octane gasoline into a larger container and then pour another gallon or 92 octane gasoline from another container into the larger container you don't end up with 184 octane. THC percentages do not 'add up.' Hash and hash oil is often very misunderstood and wrongly believed too be higher in THC. If you make hash or hash oil from a plant that is 20% in THC than the hash or hash oil will also be the same 20%. The difference is it is now in a concentrated form. For each 'toke' you take of hash or hash oil it will be like taking 5, 10 or more hits of the buds of the plant the hash or hash oil was made of. You are taking in more THC, but not a higher potency THC, just a higher quantity of the same potency THC with each 'toke.'

As for any Kush strain, anyone who believes it to contain the highest levels of THC clearly was not alive and 'toking' in the 60's or 70's and never experienced the true pure strains from places like Africa and Southeast Asia. Two 'tokes' of strains like that would make a Kush lover of today cry for their mama because they were too high.

PURE OG KUSH HONEY OIL haha... man 70 a gram of oil. hahah insane knock you on your bottom.

Highest THC level in marijuana:

Right now the highest level of THC found in a strain from a REPUTABLE breeder is 25% and found in Herijuana from Sannie's Seeds.

There are breeders who greatly 'embellish' the THC levels of their strains in hopes of selling more 'beans' and making more money. BC Seeds has long been known by those 'in the life' as being a ripoff breeder. They make false claims about strains like Elephant Bud and Euphoria being the most potent strains in existence with THC levels up to or above 50%. As I said, they GREATLY EMBELLISH their claims.

There is also much confusion about THC and potency. THC is the most important cannabinoid to anyone who wants a 'buzz' but it relies on other cannabinoids in some ways. Certain other cannabinoids will increase or decrease the effects of THC. A strain with a lower level of THC can cause a better high or buzz than another strain with a higher THC content.

Few who grow cannabis, and almost none of those who only smoke cannabis, really know much if anything at all about cannabis plants beyond how to grow them without killing them .. and many even do that …. or the true effects of different cannabinoids in conjunction with THC.

If someone wants Mr. Toad's Wild Ride they should totally forget about the modern incorrectly claimed wunder-strains, or super-strains, and instead search the world for true pure old land-race sativa genetics in equatorial regions and tropical regions. I would suggest a trip to Vietnam, to the city of Dalat and find 'beans' from the cannabis that shares the same name. It would make the most hardened of tokers who are used to the baloney-super-strains of today and make them cry for their mammas because they had never experienced such a rocket-sled ride in their lives.

For all the talk about THC many have never heard of THCV and THCV is only found in some sativa strains, and to a lesser degree in some crosses made using the same strains. THCV is the true rocket fuel in cannabis but its importance has been pushed aside through ignorance and all most people ever talk or ask about is THC, THC, THC, THC, THC.

Most people who tell others about cannabis should not bother to open their mouths because in most cases they do not know the facts and only know the myths and urban legends and stoner folklore but they pass it on to others as if it is accurate information.

There is no "BEST marijuana" because that is based on opinion. Here are some popular strains...

White Widow - 1995 Cannabis Cup winner

Tangerine Dream - 2010 Cannabis Cup winner

Northern Lights - 1990 Cannabis Cup winner (and personal favorite)

Super Silver Haze* - 1998 & 1999 Cannabis Cup winner

Super Lemon Haze * - 2008 & 2009 Cannabis Cup winner

Look up Cannabis Cup for a list of past winners.

* Haze is popular, so if you find Purple Haze, Super Lemon Haze, or anything Haze then it probably will be a good buy. Other good names include Skunk,

There is no documented tests to correctly answer this question, any accounts of potency is opinion as the effects can vary from plant to plant even on the same strand. Though an interesting related fact, FBI officials have documented that the potency of marijuana confiscated has increased in potency over 80% since 1980.

Gram for gram, ounce for ounce - hashish. Hashish is made from the trichomes of the cannabisbud, meaning that only the most potent parts of the bud are being compressed into the final product.

Depends Marijuana is different quality at different times of the year. It really all depends on where you live. California has "Cali Kush" and "Cali Dro." Florida has "White widow." So it all depends.
