The structure of the email is the same exact as that of the physical mail. There is a sender (you), a mailman (server), and a receiver (person you are trying to communicate with).
We live in the "now generation", so email is perfect for the contemporary world because we do not like waiting, and email is instant as opposed to the slow physical mail.
