Beagles are gentle, happy dogs and are not aggressive. They warm up to people quick, and crave company because they're pack animals. Because of this, some get seperation anxiety, but not all of them do and they make terrible guard dogs because they like people too much. They were bred to be a bit stubborn, and so they can be hard to train, but they will adore their humans.
