communism?
Marxism
Marx was opposed to capitalism, and wanted it replaced by a classless Socialist society.
A type of government that allows little or no private ownership of property and that has strong control over the economy and society as a whole is called Communism. The hammer and sickle are universal symbols for Communism.
Marx talked about the dictatorship of the proletariat as the transition between capitalism and Communism. This just meant the working class taking temporary control of the state and using it as part of the changeover to a classless society.
Communism (a classless stateless society based on production for use) has never existed and so cannot be replaced by anything.
Marxist Communism.
A classless stateless society is Socialism.
The doctrine that developed from the Communist Manifesto is Marxist communism, which advocates for the abolition of private property, a classless society, and the eventual dictatorship of the proletariat leading to a stateless, classless society. It emphasizes the need for revolution to overthrow the capitalist system and establish a socialist society.
stateless, classless society where the means of production are collectively owned and everyone contributes according to their ability and receives according to their needs. This vision, often referred to as "from each according to his ability, to each according to his need," emphasizes the elimination of private property and the creation of a truly egalitarian society.
Karl Marx, a German philosopher and economist, envisioned a classless society where common people, known as the proletariat, would control their own fate. Marx believed that this society would be achieved through revolution and the establishment of a socialist system where wealth and resources are shared equally among all members of society.
Achieving a classless society is a complex and challenging goal due to deep-rooted social, economic, and political structures. While progress can be made towards reducing inequality and improving social mobility, complete eradication of class distinctions may be difficult to achieve in this century. Sustaining a classless society would require ongoing efforts to promote equity, justice, and inclusivity across all sectors of society.
Marx referred to the dictatorship of the proletariat as a temporary transitionary phase during which the working class seizes control of the state to dismantle capitalism and establish a socialist society. In this phase, the proletariat holds political power to reshape the economic system and ultimately achieve a classless society.

CLASSLESS
In short, no. Classless society, in it's ultimate version would mean no divisions on the basis of economic status, which certainly wasn't the case in the USSR.
The concept of a classless society is most closely associated with communism, where there is no private ownership of the means of production and everyone is considered equal.
In the beginning, the animals seek to make it a classless society with the set of rules that Snowball and Napoleon make. In the end, it is not, with the pigs the ruling class and the rest of the animals workers.
