Unless the question is asking for a 'slang' term, there is no legal word or definition that applies to such an individual.

Why criminal considered a superstar of the criminal juctice system?

The criminal justice system is a complex system from the moment of arrest to the moment of justice, whether the accused plead or is found guilty, or acquitted. The focus on the criminal justive system is that person-- the accused. So this is why the accused is so-called the Superstar of the justice system: if he wasn't there would be no criminal justice system. This is the same analogy as in medicine: the superstar of medicine is not the doctor, nurse, or technician: it's the patient! It is the patient who either gets better, worse, or dies.

It is worse to arrest someone for a crime he or she did not commit than it is to let a criminal get away?

If you arrest the wrong person, then the real criminal gets away. So your question's moot as either way the criminal gets away.

Who is the last word given to in the American system of law the accused is innocent until proven guilty?

The last word, so to speak, is given to the jury. If it decides a person is not guilty, there can be no questioning how it came to that conclusion. The person is free of that charge forever. Another "last word" is that in a criminal trial, the prosecution gets to make the final closing statement. In that respect , the prosecution has the last word.

How does the jury decide what punishment the defendant gets?

The jury does not decide what punishment the defendant gets, the judge does. The only thing the jury decides is whether the defendant is guilty or not guilty of what he is accused of.

I was charged with harassment and some of the things she said i did are not true will the judge read each charge and ask me for my plea so i can deny the one's that are not true?

You should probably consult with an attorney. Also, there is a difference between being "charged" with harassment and simply having had an Order of Protection/Restraining Order served on you. Protection orders are civil, not criminal, and there is no "guilty/not guilty" plea on those. If it's criminal, the state will probably appoint you an attorney. If civil, you don't even need one, though you may wish to have one to guard your interests. If it's criminal, you either are pleading guilty or not guilty, you aren't getting into an incident by incident analysis. If it's the Protective Order, she'll be describing all that she feels happened, and you will - if you wish it - have opportunity to cross examine her to show the truth or falsity of each allegation. You would also, though you need not, have opportunity to make a statement yourself, however, if you do, she gets to cross examine you.
