Time zones.
The equator crosses completely through the entire eastern hemisphere and the entire western one.
Florence is found in the eastern hemisphere of the coast of Europe, in Italy.
Through Jesus
Yes. The Tropic of Cancer passes through the Northern, Eastern and Western hemispheres.
The equator passes through Kenya, so part of it is in the northern hemisphere and part of it is in the southern hemisphere.
Indonesia is passed through by the equator line, making Indonesia both in the northern and southern hemisphere. It is also in the eastern hemisphere. Indonesia is in the northern, southern and eastern hemisphere. See related link below.
It goes through the Northern, Western, and Eastern hemispheres
The Northern, Eastern, and Western hemispheres.
Africa stretches through both the Northern and Southern hemispheres, as well as the Eastern and Western hemispheres. Antarctica is in the South Pole, and within the Southern Hemisphere. It extends through the Eastern and Western hemispheres. Asia, like Africa, extends through all hemispheres. It is mostly within the Northern and Eastern hemispheres, but part of it (Indonesia, which is considered a part of the Asian continent) goes into the Southern hemisphere, while another part, Russia, extends through the Eastern hemisphere, and onward to the Western hemisphere. Australia is within the Southern and Eastern hemispheres only. Europe is mostly situated within the Eastern hemisphere, but entirely within the Northern hemisphere: the United Kingdom, France and Spain stretch into both the Eastern and Western hemispheres, while Portugal and Ireland are completely within the Western hemisphere. North America is situated entirely within the Northern hemisphere, and it also within the Western hemisphere. South America-- the equator crosses through it, so it is in both the Northern and Southern hemispheres, and entirely within the Western hemisphere
By most standards, the prime meridian (which runs through Greenwich, England) as the eastern edge of the Western Hemisphere (and the western edge of the eastern hemisphere) and its longitudinal opposite at 180 degrees longitude (west or east, which runs through the Pacific Ocean) being the western edge of the western hemisphere and the eastern edge of the eastern hemisphere. The time zones known as Greenwich Mean Time and the International Date Line are sometimes alternatively used to demark the western from eastern hemispheres, but the would not be true hemispheres as those time zones are not straight longitudes.
Spain is north of the equator so it is in the northern hemisphere. The Prime Meridian runs through Spain so it is in both the eastern, and western, hemispheres, but it is predominantly in the western hemisphere.
The Tropic of Capricorn is stationary . . . completely in the southern hemisphere, half in the eastern hemisphere, and half in the western one.
