Different car models require different pressures. A tire can be placed on many different models, so how can a tire tell you what pressure YOUR car should have? CHECK THE OWNERS manual or inside the door sides or the glovebox for your car's pressure. THE ONLY TIRE PRESSURE LISTED ON A TIRE TELLS YOU THE MAXIMUM PRESSURE THAT THE TIRE CAN TAKE --IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WHAT YOUR CAR REQUIRES.I consulted the user manual for my '93 Geo Prizm, and it said "Geo does not make tires...check the information supplied by the TIRE MANUFACTURER!" I think it's required to show it's maximum PSI on the sidewall. Off the top of my head i'd say 30 PSI is normal.
