Most state require that you have a 2-year degree from an American Veterinary Medical Association accredited veterinary technology program. There are very very few states that will allow you to sit for the credentialling exam with a degree from any other degree program than one of the AVMA accredited ones. http://www.avma.org/education/cvea/vettech_programs/vettech_programs.asp
