The fastest I've gotten my 2010 2LT RS is 152 MPH on open highway before I had to slow to meet traffic. This was confirmed by the Dealer who sold me my Camaro who rode beside me during the run. Good news is that the throttle was still pushing up (albeit slowly at that point) before I let off of it. I've heard from multiple owners in my area that they've gotten up to 151 before likewise having to slow for traffic.
According to Car and Driver, the 2010 Camaro LT beat out the 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe in top speed, with a government limit of 157 MPH. Which means, if you read below, that the V6 Camaro can beat out both the 2010 Challenger and the 2010 Mustang V8 models.

The speedometer goes up to 160 MPH in the V6 model.
According to Car and Driver, the 2010 Camaro SS has a government limit of 155 according to the manufacturer's claim, beating out the 141 on the Dodge Challenger R/T and the 149 MPH managed by the 2010 Ford Mustang GT.

The speedometer in the 2010 Camaro SS (V8 model) goes up to 180, personally observed in a test drive.
A: the base model 1998 to 2000 camaro with the v6 is much slower. its rev limiter kicks in at 110mph to 115mph. It makes up for that with its light weight and consistantly powerful gears.
this makes it fun to drive.
125
I did around 120 in mine.
Depends whether it's a V6 or V8
Top speed is factory limited to 115-117 mph.

No, it uses speed density the 2.8 v6 camaro uses a MAF sensor.
Any other 5-speed trannys from a 1996-2002 Camaro/Firebird with the 3.8 V6 should work
I have taken my up to 115 on a very long highway not sure how much faster they will go
it is 5000 rpms. (3.4 is the v6 1994 camaro.
No, gear ratios are different.
