It depends on what kind of use you're looking for, if you are looking to use a spring in some kind of a demonstration for a class, you can attach a mass to it, put it against gravity and set it off on an oscillation, explaining how it exhibits the features of Standard Harmonic Motion... particularly useful for students studying PH4 WJEC Oscillations.
If your simply looking for an example, a simple one that is always overlooked is where you're in a restaurant, perhaps an all inclusive one where you help yourself, and you grab a plate only to see another one pop up to replace it, you put it back and the stack drops down back below the surface leaving only the one plate visible once more. That's a spring suspension system, and is to do with the spring constant k, where the mass of the plate is known and and so is the height of the plate (i.e. the thickness) and so what has been achieved is that the distance the strings stretch when another plate is placed on top of the pile, is equal to the thickness of the plate, and voila, only one plate visible at a time...
Hope this helps?
Spring is when the flowers bloom and the birds start to sing. Does everything have to have a use? Have you no romance in your soul?
To make the flowers grow
Suspension systems use both coil springs, generally around a shock absorber, and leaf springs.
use the trampoline tool which should come in a pack with your springs :)
because these springs are long in length & more over less suspension system.
for level3 nvq what are the consturtion and use regulations on fitting coil springs into vehicles
Shorter springs would be one way to lower a car. Weak springs would be another way.
You can use any diameter springs for that. Best to contact the cam manufacturer for a recommendation.
The short answer: not really. Read on: Resources are things that we use for energy. We do not typically use hot springs as energy, but they have been used. The steam has been used as energy.
the answer is Iceland and they use them for heating the houses!!
