The KA BAR 1185 folding knife is a rare one. It appears to be identical to the 1184. The 1184 was manufactured between 1960 and 2000. It originally sold for about $35 retail. Another KA BAR folder that is almostidenticalto the 1184 and the 1185 is the one blade version. The ones I've seen have black scales. It does not carry a series number. All of theaforesaidKA BARS sell in a range between $25 to $300. One in great will garner about $50, wholesale. One in mint shape will sell at the higher limit. Those sold in pawn shops are generally overpriced. KA BAR over the years has re-used series numbers, therefore some confusions exist in identifying the knives.
