The 1945 Liberty half dollar values depends again on condition of the coin. The mint mark and the type of coin is a huge factor in determining the value of this coin. However, I have seen many of these coins sell for under $5.00 dollars this year. And one of these coins sold for nearly $2,500.00 in 'Proof' condition at auction last year.
Please check your coin again. The only half dollars minted in 1925 were commemorative Stone Mountain halves. In addition the image used from 1916 to 1947 was the Walking Liberty design. The Standing Liberty design was used on quarters minted from 1916 to 1930.

Since its not issued by any mint with a wide base of collectors, it is just worth gold scrap. The actual value depends on the weight of the piece.
I have one from World War One. I'm not sure of the exact value, but I have seen them being sold anywhere from $20-$50 based upon the time they are from and condition of the coin.
If you check the back you'll find that you have a halfdollar. There has never been a US-issued Kennedy silver dollar.
