I'm not familiar with any 1922 cents that were double-struck (*). Could you provide more information? Most commonly a double strike shows two images on the same side of the coin, somewhat out of alignment with each other, or each side has the standard image and the opposite side's image intermixed.
(*) FWIW, coins are said to be struck, not "stamped"
Look at the coin again, no US dimes were struck in 1922.
Nothing. Modified coins have no collector value.
No US quarters were struck in 1922. The US did not make ANY quarters dated 1922.
Be more specific no 1922 half dollars were struck
A Penny Reward - 1922 was released on: USA: 14 May 1922
Uncirculated > Up to $120.00.....Circulated > 7.50 to $32.50
Between $13 and $230. In the future please include the condition of the coin so I can value it more precisely for you.
In 1922 the only Lincoln cent struck was a 1922-D, worn dies and over polishings caused the D not to strike up well or be completely missing from the coin and are highly valued
The cast of Penny Ante - 1922 includes: Harry Mann
In 1922 all Lincoln cents were struck at the Denver Mint, the coin should have a "D" mintmark under the date. Some of the coins are missing the mintmark because worn dies and over polishings caused the D not to strike up well or be completely missing from the coin. These coins have a much higher value than the regular 1922-D issue. Many 1922-D Lincolns have had the mintmark removed, the coin should be seen for a accurate value.
There's no 1922 Barber half dollar. The Walking Liberty series began in 1916, and none were struck in 1922 due to low demand.
The coin needs to be seen, take it to a dealer or collector for an assessment
