That would be pretty difficult to have because U.S. dimes have been made of copper-nickel since 1965. Anything with a copper core (look at its edge) is worth only face value.

There were a few "transitional errors" in the mid-1960s during the changeover from silver to clad coinage; occasionally some silver blanks got mixed in with the clad ones. However that's extremely unlikely to have happened 20 years later.
