The second way is go to your local library and find a gun values book. They are like an encyclopedia of gun values and come out every year. You should find it there. NOTE: condition has EVERYTHING to do with gun values, so look in the front of the book to properly grade your gun. Gun values go up and down like the price of rice. Some guns hold their value well, others were very modest when made and have not imporved since then.
