your shotgun was made by High Standard manfacturing .In 1955 for Sears. Sears owned a sizable part of High standard in those Days. This model was a Sears only gun though made by High Standard it was not their gun It was known as the J C Higgins Model 10 Exclusive Sears product. These were very well made shotguns and one of the best bolt action shotguns one the market 20 gauge is also a very popula and usefull gauge If your shotgun is in good or better condition and shootable its worth $125 bucks or more depending on who wants it
