I have been seeing the standard model Alberta Diamond Jubilee in that condition sell for $1400 or more recently. Check both GunsAmerica.com and GunBroker.com regularly to see what they are going for.

Original is not a term normally used in a context with diamonds. If you mean real or natural, then take your diamond to a jeweler who can use a probe to determine if the diamond is a real diamond. The jeweler may not be able to tell whether the diamond is a natural diamond or a man-made diamond: for that determination, please take your diamond to a certified gemologist.

One can trace this name back to Mae West, who may or may not have been the original 'Diamond Lil'. Mae West wrote a play in 1928 and named it after its main character, Diamond Lil. Read more, below.

Original answer: yes-it is the strongest substance on earthYes, diamond is the strongest Natural substance on earth, but it is not nearly the strongest substance of all, and diamond is a mineral... not a metal... there are other ores such as titanium and tungsten that can be strengthened to become thousands of times stronger than diamond.

The raw Cullinan Diamond remains the largest raw diamond ever found. It was found in South Africa in 1905 and weighed over 3,000 carats. It filled the palm of a grown man's hand. The original size of the Hope Diamond is unknown, but today it is about the size of a egg, considerably less than the Cullinan.

If a diamond is pushed into the eyeball, it would damage the organ and potentially cause blindness. Reflectively, unless the original source of light bounced through a faceted diamond would blind an eye, the act of passing a light through a diamond would not -- as a stand-alone fact -- cause blindness in all probability.

It depends. For an example at my school the DECA Diamond is Red and Blue because of our school colors. But the Original DECA Diamond is Blue with Gold writing. Also, it can vary by your local, state, and national chapter.
