Iver johnson
The Iver Johnson "Champion" is the most common version, although there are older models. Would need more information to make a valid identification. Assuming good shape, about $100.
Typically $75-$100.
Iver Johnston made 4 different models of single shot shotguns from the year 1909-1978.The model 36 champion was from 1909-1922,the champion model 39 was from 1909-1916.the excel model was from 1910-1935,and finally the champion single barrel model from 1923-1978.
My great-grandmother gave me her's and she purchased her's in 1949.
There were 3 different models of the champion shotgun in 16 gauge that were produced. The Iver Johnson champion top snap model was made from 1905-1908.The champion model 36 was made from 1909-1922.The champion single barrel was made from 1923-1978.If your shotgun has a serial number and a prefix letter before the serial number,we should be able to identify the year of production. Please include this in your description to help better identify the year of production.

1901 single barrel shotgun, washingtion
single barrel was probably an Iver Johnson. There were double barrel models made probably by Iver Johnson and possibly Stevens. They were made under contract after WWI for Sharpliegh Hardware in St Louis. This was common practice as Iver Johnson would put your Company name or logo or P/N on anything they made . Iver Johnson originally made bicycles and merged into firearms. Their Champion guns were sold with as many as 20+ different names on them. I have 6 different guns and they all resemble each other very much. Am looking for an extractor for a 12 gague single Champion.
