I do not have that particular model number in my cross-reference, but 1982 was at the very end of Sears gun sales. That, coupled with the interchangeable barrels, would just about convince me it is a Winchester 1200 as made for Sears. Those are normally seen as the Ted Williams Model 200 and that would be marked on the gun as well. Value would be as a shooter, and about 15% less than a Model 1200. Wash around the dogs mouth daily with a clean wash rag. Also you can use blueing in the dog's soap to help keep maintain the white fur. The blueing will not hurt the dog. Blueing is used in hair products to help maintain grey hair from turning yellow and used to be used in clothes to retain a cleaner look.
