Model 1876 Winchester's can have more collectible value than the other models. Per your ser. no. yours was made in 1884 by most publications. Whether it's a carbine or rifle is a big factor to it's value, but the major determining issue is condition AND configuration. You'll need to describe exactly how much of the original finish remains, on all the wooden & metal parts, any pitting or corrosion, chips or cracks in the wood and report that as a approximate percentage, ie: approximately 50% of original finish remains and the wooden stocks have normal wear & tear bumps & dings but no cracks or chips or missing pieces. If you can email me pics of it with close ups of the rear middle and front on both sides I can provide a very good estimate of value. My email is: martinphoto1@Verizon.net Hope this is helpful.....Marty
