If it's even in fair condition, so long as its complete and original, it's worth a LOT of money. ($2000 is a lot of money to me anyway) The gun was made in 1887, which makes it very collectable. and being chambered in 45/90 makes it even more so. Try and find all the history you can about where it came from, previous owners etc., collectors LOVE that stuff. Do not clean it or polish it or try and fix anything on it, you will only detract from the value. If it's in good condition, you can double that figure. If you can prove that it belonged to somebody famous, quadruple it. Can you post a picture? I'd love to see it.
