The coin is a Eisenhower dollar and has no silver in it. Only proof and uncirculated coins from the mint have more than face value.

If it is not a proof coin , it has very little collector's value. These coins are still in general circulation and are, of course, worth $1. The value is one dollar proof coins, which have to be specially ordered from the mint, are about $3.00.
Value is 5 to 10 cents. Most uncirculated coins are a dollar or less.
For the collector value with the exceptions of errors and specially made proof coins, the penny would have to be made before 1959.
These coins are no longer in circulation since Irelands changeover to the Euro in 2002. Unless they are part of a Proof or Uncirculated mint set or are individual Proof or Uncirculated coins and in absolute mint condition, they have little or no value.
Average value is 3 cents for most coins, some are 25 cents to dollar depending on condition.
All of the business strikes of presidential dollar coins and other modern one dollar coins are face value only. Unless it's a proof or uncirculated coin in it's original Mint packaging spend it.
