Silver quarters were issued from 1796 to 1964 at 4 mints so there're lots to choose from.
The melt value of a quarter is about 0.18 times the price of 1 oz of silver metal. However, depending on their dates, conditions, and mint marks quarters earlier than the mid-1940s may be worth more, sometimes a lot more, to collectors. If you have an older quarter, please post a new question with more details including the coin's date, its condition, and the mint mark (i.e. if you can see a small letter (D, S, O, CC) under the eagle).
Precious-metal prices change every day so any specific posted here would be out of date almost immediately. 90% silver US quarters contain about 0.18 of a troy ounce of silver so you'd need the current price of raw silver to get an idea of the melt value. While it's not normal Wiki s policy to say "use the internet", that's the best approach in this case. You can check a site such as kitco.com, CNNMoney, etc. for the latest spot prices.

The rising price of silver has increased the melt value to about $3.50. Of course a metal buyer will pay wholesale rates, about 1/3 less than retail.

You don't have a pure silver quarter as the US has never minted a pure silver (99.9% pure or higher) silver quarter. Instead what you have is a 90% silver quarter which would be dated 1964 or prior. The value depends on a number of factors including the date, the mintmark and the condition. But a silver quarter is worth $5-6 in scrap silver regardless of type or condition, however some quarters can be worth significantly more.
