Assuming the coin is circulated and has no mintmark, the 1892 MORGAN dollar is a slightly better date coin of the series. For an accurate assessment of value the coin needs to be seen and graded. Most coins have seen heavy use and show a lot of wear. In general retail values for low grade coins are $30.00-$33.00, better grade are $35.00-$45.00 and coins showing almost no wear in the AU grades, run from $60.00-$95.00. Values are a market average and only for coins in collectible condition, coins that are bent, corroded, scratched, used as jewelry or have been cleaned have far less value if any to a collector or dealer.

There's no such thing as a gold silver dollar. Dollar coins were made of gold (1854-1889) or silver (1794-1935) but the 2 metals were never mixed. Most likely you have a silver dollar coin that was plated. Unfortunately being plated reduces its value to that of the raw metal in it, about $10 as of 06/2009.
