I think it might actually be Air Potato which is in the Yam family. It is from Africa and very invasive in Florida and it does have heart shaped leaves and produce bulbs above ground that fall to the ground and make more vines. See the link below to the University of Florida Extension page.
These are a lovely plant growing on a trellis..They DO have flowers..you just can hardly see them. They are in a cluster like a bunch of grapes, very very tiny, and have an intensely fragrant smell...I love my vine, and try to cut it down before all those "potato seeds" fall to the ground...save some of the larger seeds, and share with a friend. I also have one in a very large pot with a home made trellis. If you do that however, put a large stone in the bottom of the pot..it WILL blow over in the wind.
